First Night Hartford is the region’s community New Year’s Eve tradition through a showcase of our capital city’s arts and cultural abundance. It’s an inclusive and accessible celebration that marks the passage from the old year to the new with art, music, ritual, and joy. The daylong festival is a multicultural, and artistically unique experience with countless professional musicians, artists, performance groups, art-making activities, and interactive exhibitions that inspire thousands of people of all ages to attend year after year. It’s also an affordable way for us all to ring in the New Year together with the biggest fireworks show in the region—38 years and running!

First Night Hartford, Inc.., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN #22-2970922) that independently produces both First Night Hartford and Hartford Bonanza with support from individuals, grants, and sponsorships. Your donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by IRS code.
